A few of us old fogeys agree that anime was much better in the early 90′s, but you still have a crop of the “old guard” making great stuff out of studio MADHOUSE up to the present day. Its just too bad that one of My favorite director/animators Satoshi Kon has just passed away at the young age of 47. I believe that Japan has probably lost about 40% of its talent, and he will be sorely missed. I am a Huge fan of “Magnetic rose”, “Paranoia agent”, “Tokyo Godfathers”, and “paprika” and I hope more people will continue to discover the works this man left behind, because too few studios in japan are even raising the bar anymore. I was worried about how you the readers might start to react to what I am currently depicting. This comic isn’t meant to be overtly offensive or adult in nature, but I did expect some ire based on the previous pages comments. I’m glad everyone’s tolerating this even if the idea of of kidnap and molestation isn’t a happy subject dive into. The mashine people tend to do what they think is a more logical course of action, they also don’t view humans as being on the same level as them until they become like them (Guardia mashina). Just wanted to say, that last poll was very telling about the audience of this comic. Of a random sample of 100 voters, 80% of you like the whole robot/human relationship theme. Now I’m finding out that a few of you are science majors, It’s pretty cool to have a buncha smarties checking back each week. ;;stretches out;;
