The regeneration, the thing with lance, and the memory belt wont be explained untill the next arc. actually i HAVENT explained them on purpose but i had hres leave thos plantlike streaks of light on lyrons shoulder before the vision. oh well, I was trying to do something visually with the first 2 panels but it looks like ill have to redraw.

..when did the plant stuff get on? I’m confused already…

..and it seems a bit mean to have him able to regenerate when he’s doomed to die. Poor Squeaky Toy.

Or is there a cunning plan..? Memory belt, regeneration abilty… H’m. May be death for Jotuns isn’t necessarily as permanent as death to Norns…? Given the right circumstances..?

But then, how do we explain Lance..?

I agree with Jaylaw’s idea of the fading thing, I was confused over whether this was happening or not too. I’m going to kill my eyes trying to pick out all the detail on that Sleipnyr sillouette. XD

yeah, Slep is Odins 8 legged horse. there is some dispute over the name, ive heard it spelled “Gleipnr” “Sleipnir” etc. In this comic though, Slepnyr is a very evil mecha guy. Rest assured I only used a few norse refrences for the comic, you wont see some guy named Odin or Wodan or Seigtyr walking around town or anything. I more or less picked names i liked the “sound” of.

Page 32 could prolly do with gradually fading into grey then into a black frame as you scan down the page boarders, to make it absolutely obvious that what follows is a vision, and not an actual scene change, and back up the other way when the vision ends.

For a few pages I thought I was looking at ‘real life,’ not what Hresvalgr is showing Lyron…

Isn’t Slepnyr an 8-legged horse, by the way..?

I’m all set to call it Mashina, now… or I could alternate between the two and really drive you nuts..? o_~ You want Machina? Are you *sure*..?

I’m sure plenty of Lyron posters will appear in due course. I’ll be honest - I want to see kisses! Soppy or what..? But, while I’d love to see a cute image of (equal-sized) Panchun and Lyron in a Disney-styled smooch, it might not be appropriate at this stage of the story.

So I want more of Holy Gear, just now. He looks a whole lot of fun, like an elf with big boots and a bent fairy cap (sorry, but he does!). More fodder to add to the ’short guy’ complex he’s already got! ^-^ Does he transform..? It looks like he can…
