Suprised about the recent interest in the pseudo-science of Edenworlds mashina and guardia.  Based on the landslide of the recent poll too, It seems that alot of people (the vocal ones) are really interested in the theme of this comic, human/mecha. What are your thoughts?

The good news is, I’m still alive with both my drawing hands intact. Ill be incurring some harsh financial burdon starting tomorro, and have decided that I will now start takeing commisions for black and white & color work. Book 8

I decided To just do a map of the world (seeing as I couldn’t get help to do the tarot cards in time). Of course this is not the whole map, I’d say about 30% is cut off but its pretty damn close. The nature of the Continents is slightly reminiscent of Pangaea accept that it pretty much zig-zags  over the diameter of the planet.  Edenworld is not shown here, because it’s location is not fixed, Nor is 2nd/Sekond world. The equator is pretty much right on top of the great Ignaz desert, but much of the wasteland isn’t naturally occurring.

I also Just want to add, that the last 6 pages were NOT written with help from the editor Jason Lanum. If the text seems grammatically bad or disjointed then that’s my fault, I’m totally dyslexic.

Notes: I might add, There were several changes made during the drawing of this fight scene. In the original Script, The baboon Devil had showed up as a summon from a much nastier Devil Lady named Wagyu Cadmere (who shows up later). She was the one who casted the ocean water spell but teleports out of there shortly after. Baboon Guy was supposed to be much bigger then the other mashina, and Eyeball Monster was supposed to be much smaller. I switched their sizes around because I had thought the baboon was more important and shouldn’t really spam the size difference for the enemies all the time. In Edenworld, the only creatures bigger then the mechas  are the dragons really, and to have a bunch of enemies show up who were as big as dragons would cheapen out the fear factor. The old script was much more melancholy too, Geno did not handle the death of the female humans so well (because he himself wants to have a wife someday) and this all fits in abit more in the next book.

I don’t see how some comics can tell a story in less then 30 pages. (Ok maybe I can sorta see it) but Even keeping full page splashes to a sheer minimum, I find I still need about 5 pages per scene to really illustrate things out.

Look forward to alot more plot and characterization in book 8, as the truly “weird” stuff with the human x robot relationships happens now. (I know thats why some of you are still here afterall.)

Edenworld is now in it’s 4rth year running and I have plans for a Podcast, banner changes, More bio artwork, and maybe even a contest. Check back for general site updates and poll changes when they appear, and I’ll see if I cant make this comic available again for print before the year is done.
