Jet The White design: Probably the plainest design of all my Mashina characters. Except for his wings, there’s not much to his thin transforming body other then his curse lines. Jet was origionaly a parody of a Macross Veritech that went through many revisions to eliminate any semblance of Macross from him and his name is a combination of “Blue Jet” from Machine Robo and “Slust the Red” from Ogre Battle: The March Of The Black Queen. All of my transforming mecha have very simple 2 or 3 step transformations to make them easier to illustrate in comic format. If I made something as complicated as GaoGaiGar then it would take 10 pages each book just to emphasize that – and I didn’t wanna go that route!

Oh, and this is an awesome page, the shading on Squibb’s face is wicked. I even got that that was an x-ray thingy at the bottom. It just looked like he was looking through buildings and the large white blob is Lyron.
