Awwww… look at that top panel! ^-^ Isn’t Sky attentive? I take back all concerns! ^_^
Making out with robots appears to make you lose your eyes. I’m not sure if that’s “what’s wrong” but somebody has presumably told Sky that if a woman has problems of any kind, go get some water.
(I’m sure Tam will find them again in a couple of minutes) o_~
So, waking up naked in a strange place with a giant, six-eyed metal man near by… my reaction would be to scream “Mother f*#%!!!!” and freak out while looking for clothes and a way out, IN THAT ORDER. XD
Dude! Robots are using humans :3
Can a robot really have interactions of such kinds with a human? Are they trying to procreate, just plain old having some fun
Neko: I hear ya, I’m pretty tired these days, been sick with the flu and the residuals for 2 weeks now. And I had the flu shot.
Jaylaw: you were privy to a piece of comic that basically 98% of readers haven’t seen. With that said, love making doesn’t make you go blind – that only happens once if the girl is human. The idea is that nanomachines tend to attack the eyes first when they are either assimilating or destroying. So if your being turned into a mech you go blind, or if your infected and being killed, you go blind. Tamarin is just too proud to let sky pamper her right now. So she’s going to get some water – an excellent transition device. (Sky wouldn’t make this mistake again tho, he’ll have a jug of water in every room to prevent her thirst from cord-blocking his passions again)
Kureo: Yep, he’s got 6 optics and he’s interested in one of those ladies. Commence screaming in 5..4…3..
Kevin: Quite a twist huh? As for your question, the mechas in this story weren’t built, so theoretically they are their own type of creature like humans and Sargons are. They also basically have the same creator God, so yeah.. It’s possible even if it seems improbable.
..I had no idea what Ratbat was referring to when she mentioned a part of the comic that most others haven’t seen.
Then just now something occurred to me and I looked at my hard-copy comic book of Edenworld Saga. And sure enough, the bonus feature (the encounter between Lance and Cheska) shows the girl wearing a blindfold. Originally, I thought she was blindfolded because she’d had shrapnel in her eyes – ie because she was wounded during the flashback skirmish between Jotun scouts and Norn trainees.
But now I get it. She was at the same stage of evolution as Tami is now. ^_^
It’s an interesting sideline that Guardia can morph between being giantesses and female mecha. They can also eat. Presumably Cheska never knew she could switch forms, so never did. I recall humourously asking once if a True Guardia could convert an human male into a Machina. I have a new question; can a Machina morph into a giant?
hyunewur?
Is that the girls name or what?
And is there a place in which to see or where i could get the comic strips often referred to but not seen on these pages?
and if there is a possibility to order what chance is to order over the seas?
Sandraman: Yes her name is Hyunewurl but the only important people whose names you’d ever want to remember are in the Bio section of the glossary. There are a lot of people with names but not all of them are important, so its not important you remember hers.
As for the deleted pages: they were only offered in the first print run of my comic chapter 1 (about 2 years ago) the material was mostly for mature audiences and covered a little back story about Lance and Cheska (the girl and robot that died in book 1) I axed the pages because I thought the characters they were about weren’t important enough to distract from the main story. If you are still interested, I can e-mail you a Zip file.
Hm… characters I’ve never heard of, doin’ the bump n’ grind… interesting.
I really do love your concept on human/machine transition. Unrelatedly, I’ve found that nanomachines are science’s magic!
I, too, am interested in these “extra pages” you speak of… I believe we all have an email attached to our WordPress login? I don’t remeber exactly. I’ll go fiddle with it to make sure.
With each page I look at I can only marvel at your shading skills.
Aw poor Sky shot down before the action began. What I enjoy much about your story line is the fact that no Guardia will ever be alone. She’ll eventually find her match.
As with Jirune above, I heard about these mysterious ‘extra pages’ and have been dying to get a look at them.
So do they temporarily lose their eyes when they’re becoming proto-Guardia? Or is it only when they have a Mashina’s DNA? I’m a bit confused about the difference between the proto-Guardia and Guardia. The proto-Guardia have mashina nanites minus the DNA added, which makes them larger, but then are they still organic or are they metal?
Also, would they become Guardia that would look exactly the same as when they were human? Or would their body type change (like if they were heavier would they lose weight/ if they were skinny would they gain weight). Is there a general Guardia body plan that they all conform to slightly?
I’m also wondering how Tami’s finding her way around without eyes.
Jaylaw: Actually, Tamarin is a full guardia, but she has these very squinty eyes like brock from pokemon: http://pokemon-fantasy.tripod.com/brock.jpg She can still see just fine. But at some point, She did loose her sight for a day or 2 when she was first infected with nanomachines. Really, Tamarin is an example of a guardia whos happy about her situation. In this chapter you meet 2 guardias, a happy one, an indiffrent one, and the 2 human girls who are very unhappy. Its sort of to explain that everyone has a diffrent opinion about what the mashina are doing.
schmedder: ^ also see abouve: when they become proto-guardia (as you say) they loose consciousness untill they stop growing. But the nanomachines in their bodys are just pillars to support a larger version of their origional size. because the nanomachines that are used are stripped of their base codes, they dont possess any latent attackers or machine DNA that would kill the humans outright. If a male puts his raw nanomachines into a human or proto-guardia, then she goes through real apotheosis and becomes a robot from the inside out. they only thing that remains the same is the personality and the outter form( mostly). fat guardias or really stalky guardias, transform into heavyer armored robots, thin guardias and tall guardias can turn into lithe and fast machines.
I, too, am interested in these extra pages. Also, are we still able to buy the book, or were all the copies sold?
I was wondering about the eyes thing. When I first saw this page, I just thought it was the picture, like how some people draw eyes and eyebrows through hair. And then Jaylaw brought up the “no eyes” thing, and there was confusion, and so thank you for clearing that up.
So is Rendivi walking around in her Guardia form or her machine form? Because it looks like she’s somewhere in between…
So I just realised that I lost those extra pages when my gmail broke (or whatever it did, now it just freezes my computer). Could you please either send them to my deviantart or the other email I gave you? Sorry to be such a pain. >_>;
And with midterms over I should be able to get that gift done soon… :3

Dude in the last panel has 6 eyes. o.O

Hell jeah! i’d like to see it very much.
And i only asked the name because I wanted to ensure that it is a NAME, not a word what I do not know.
thats what you get when your firs language is not English.

Tamarin can see, she just has squinty eyes.

Man oh man, now that is a sight to wake up to. Poor girls.
And I understand what you say about the character design having seemingly closed eyes. There are a lot of anime characters that are like that.

Off topic response, sorry.
Ratty please check your email cause I goofed up. You should be getting a new email in a few minutes.
Awww, but the action was just starting… *pouts* You do very nice work, though ;3
