I haven’t read it since it was back on your LJ…like in the second book I believe (I don’t know why I ever stopped reading…)? I was watching Brigadoon (oh the sexiness that is Melon/Marin) the other day and remembered your awesome mecha smex and I had to try to find you again, thankfully I did! I love seeing how far this comic has come (and how slowly a little more and more sense its starting to make). Also love the way your art style has matured <3 I can't wait for the next update and I'll be sure to follow this time and not let it go (I'm hooked now….)!
Whatever DOES happens next, it may (or may not) be couched by the fact that Six saved Hyuneworl from a perilous drop…
..but will it lead to something good? Or something bad? Six knows what to do, and that it shouldn’t hurt. I heard somewhere that the brain itself has no pain receptors, so perhaps he’s going to eat her brain?
Man, with this entire comic, I’m constantly swinging back and forth between “this is a great world and I wouldn’t mind living in it” and “this is a pretty sucky world for ladies,” and old six-eyes is currently making me lean towards the latter. I mean, he’s acting like a serious douche. Hurry up, Lyron, and save the day already!
Of course, that just means that the story-telling of this comic is all that much more amazing. ^_^
Well, that’s how it is on present-day Ignaz.
Here’s a little story for you.
I hear on the grapevine that Sky and Tami met because T-chan has a bad case of wanderlust. She was picked up in the usual manner, but presumably life must have been pretty boring before. She never really minded. Once at Ignaz and enlarged, she didn’t stay at the harem; she began to explore. And explore. And EXPLORE. Boy that girl got around. And was she ever nosy!
One day she found her way into Sky’s lab. (you can tell he’s a nerd ’cause of the glasses. o_~ ) And there she was, this cute naked girl with an apple, munching away and asking questions about ‘what does this do?’ and ‘what does that button do?’
Sky, bless him was happy to answer (he was a bit long-winded, mind you, bless nerds everywhere). Whether she took any of it in is another matter! And wouldn’t you know? Cute Naked Girl happened to ring all his bells, and she wasn’t bad-looking either. Talk about landing in your lap!
Sky was happy to let her visit him any old time. Which she did! Now, our Sky is apparently somewhat older than he looks. And one day, sneaky Sky tried a little bitty plan to move things along; he turned the heating down. He could have used small talk, but I suppose one has to get the ball rolling somehow. Tami felt chilly, Sky’s armour put out heat. So she got in closer.
“Hellooooo there…”
And Tami didn’t seem to mind that, either! ^-^
So you see, the way the prospective couples go about it can vary. But the underlying thing is – the APHEL aura is the instinctive way the bot finds his girl. It may be a robot girl (if there are any) or a human girl. The initial period may run smoothly – or disastrously. But as soon as he’s bonded with his girl and she’s on the way to becoming a robot, he gets a dose of her psychology and finds out whether what he did was OK or not. And then he has to DEAL with that. So, in spite of the next few minutes in this comic, Hyume is actually going to come out better off with an attentive robot hubby who learns as he goes how to be a better PERSON, too. And just think – a robot hubby who can turn into a powerful tank. Or jet. Or laser cannon.
Now, if only they could do something about that face of his…
