Notes: The last page didn’t really have any dialogue and was mainly to be artistic, so I thought I’d snipe y’all another page for this week. Enjoy.

I like the way I painted the first panel, it’s very windy and dark from the underside of Edenworld : which is basically Sky Texas. The whole thing is a bit like an iceberg actually.. all the forests and lakes are on top and all the technological stuff, the turbines, the engine rooms, residential blocks are all buried among the support rock on the underside. Floating islands aren’t a terribly original concept in fantasy, but after playing through the Lunar game series I thought that the act of building and living on a sky island could be considered a seperatist or elitist act. Naturally Mashina tend to fit this bill quite well and it provides a neat contrast to the dilapidated Jotunheim town that Lyron comes from.
