Late page this week:
I kinda hate doing transitional pages. The ones where a certain amount of time travelling or progressing needs to happen to move onto the next important scene. I’ve been trying to speed up this process so I can pack in more story per book but this does take time, especially when the people in E.W. aren’t human. Backgrounds and random people in EWS take the most effort because I have to constantly re-invent a robot man or monster that doesn’t look the same as a guy I drew in a past book. Another thing that sucks is that I still haven’t mastered a 3D art program yet. So I have to draw all the layer maps by hand and it doesn’t perhaps look as good as it could. Panel 3a is a brief map of the eastern side of Edenworld. I put that in there to sort of signify that some time had past and Lyron was now *inside* the island. All this of course will be detailed better later.
In the last panel, I kind of really dig Jet acting all “tough” pointing his gun at Lyron. Those two others are darkened because there were too many mecha people in the room to detail.
In other news, my laptop was stolen yesterday evening. =/ I hate a thieves.

Laptop stealage sucks. Been luckly on a ship where 50% of sailors and marines are theives that I’ve only lost mah Nintendo DS so far D8 Hopefully you can maybe get a new laptop. Refurbished ones on ebay aren’t bad and usually cheap.
Agh, damn. Sorry to hear about the laptop. >_< I”m all paranoid that some of my stuff’ll get taken when I’m living in residence next year…
And while I like his helm design, I honestly can’t figure out where the optics of that mech asking if Lyron’s a devil are.

Schmedderling: I’m thinking that one guys optics are being blocked by his hand. the corner of them can be seen if you look at the end of the first finger. then again, I could be wrong ^^;
MopZ: I filed a police report and reviewed the camera footage. As far as its concerned, that laptop is long gone by now. Though, I hated that laptop, it’s the principle of the thing ya know?
Maxxie: I might try n get an overstock of a Mell Mini 9 and hackintosh it.
Schmedder: The optics are probably under the hand. Although some Mashina don’t have optics, some can have as many as 6 optics. I kinda just made that guy up real quick, (you got me wondering too now.)

Try to get a refurbished laptop when you buy your new one. All new parts inside, but an old model for the outside. It’ll look fine and work perfectly, but tends to be a bit cheaper. ^_^
RnH&EWS: Maybe he has his mouth on his throat and maybe he three little optics in what could pass as a visor in the middle of his face. That, or they could be hidden behind those huge mechanical eyebrows-horns of his.
…Or maybe they’re just horns…

I just figured that Eyebrow Horns Mech was holding up his hand to “whisper” to his buddy, and the angle of his face and size of his hand simply covered up his optic(s).
Not that his dramatic whisperings will help much if it was said near the Guardia with the star eyepatch.
And having had my laptop stolen before, it suckeths mightily, and I know your pain.
That’d be a good idea. Dell’s a good brand (had mah Dell XPS laptop for over 4 years now tho I’m seriously due for a new one since this can’t hardly handle the new games lol).
