*was reading the bios* Wait, what Mak’s got around his neck is a mirror? I always assumed that it was a shiny dog-tag or something of the sort.
That rune is very specific to him, but it’s not really like a vanity mirror or anything. It’s basically a focus amp to the ley lines of power in the world. It’s social taboo for male Mashina to use magic because it’s not logical and it warps reality etc. But his rune the “ATLAS” gives him magic-canceling ability. He can later project any sort of magic used against him on someone else.
Very cool, so basically he’s wearing a tiny, compact, yet super-useful sheild.
