World Tree

World Tree Summery:

Panchun waits nervously outside of the town meeting in the second main building, while Gouli splashes around in the muddy rain puddles. Ennesix appears through the front doors with Terratio and he asks her what is it she needed. Panchun Informs Terra that Lyron has disappeared from the city and that she is very worried about him. Terratio also becomes worried about his brother and he agrees to help look for him too. Lyron however, is halfway across sekond world about to explode in the mouth of a drucluu spawn dragon. His mind begins to shut down as his systems overload, but he is compelled by the strange “voice” from before, the voice from his dreams. He is shocked awake to see a strange vision of the sky shattering into pieces like glass for witch beyond it, is nothing but stars. Not understanding any of this, Lyron freaks out and tears himself from the mouth of the dragon. In his attempt to flee the breaking sky he crashes into an agricultural farmland run by old Norn farmers tilling the soil on the backs of armordons. The farmers don’t take kindly to Lyron being there and they chase him out of the farm lands brandishing shovels and pitchforks.

At night, Lyron moves stealthily up the crystal mountain side taking note of the Norns positioned on the bridge and walls. Nearly inside Bifrost city, He decides that the easiest route inside the capitol is via the aqueduct carrying the waste water out of the city. The aqueduct only has a few guards who could be easily knocked out with a sleep gas grenade. The grenade is one of the few non violent weapons he has left, and he uses it staying true to his oath of non violence against the Norns. Lyron slips inside the crystal mountain side and into the underground water system using the sector map that Panchun had gave him weeks before. Norns are alerted to the presence of a Jotun infiltration and scramble to find Lyron who passes freely underneath reservoirs and through sluice gates. He uses his internal mapping system to chart the most direct path to the shrine of sacred stone gate knowing well that he could be killed. His appearance near the gate stone catches the elite soldiers on the stairwell flat-footed. Lyron charges the gate, taking heavy muramite damage from murder holes in the narrow hall, and from spears, and lance tips from Norns desperately trying to keep him away.

Upon touching the stone, Lyron is spirited away to a place of white light where he eventually lands in a flat white plane of blue sky and a mirage of trees far out into the distance. He is shocked to find that this place makes no logical sense to his mind (the area he is in, is like a sub dimension existing where the crystal city of Bifrost should be). Before he can act, he is confronted by hundreds of dragons rearing to attack. Feeling his fighting capability reduced drastically by his muramite wounds fusing his arm in place, Lyron can only bleed, Ache, and prepare for a fight to the death with the dragons before him. Before he can do anything however, One dragon grabs him by the head and drags him to the bottomless pit of the world tree. The dragon tosses him in, and instead of falling, he floats to the roots of the World tree. Lyron pics himself up and begins to climb the tree but quickly realizes the immense gravity of the place that keeps him from simply flying to the top. Again he hears the voice from before compelling him to come closer and Lyron does so, hoping the thing he talking to is actually the thing the Norns call “God”. Halfway up, some tree roots entangle around Lyron and lift him high up into the core of the tree where the light becomes more intense. Through long forgotten cities and lakes of free floating water, Lyron is lifted into a dark area of the World tree where he finally meets the creature behind the voice in his dreams. The creature is a tree that unfolds itself into the form of a Bird creature who calls himself “Hresvalgr” .
